Here’s what you may have missed on Twitter:

Google shares topped $1000 for the first time. I’m probably not alone in wishing I would have bought early!

Did you see the pictures of the October After Hours event posted by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce? Congrats again to Jeff and Dana Cheney of The Cheney Group on your 10 years as members!

What did you think about the John Randle / Favre Chicken commercial. Funny? Weird? Both?

This is perfect patio season! Be sure to head over to Randy’s Steakhouse to enjoy a wonderful meal on their backyard patio.

Have you visited the Frisco Heritage Museum? It’s a popular wedding spot too!

Thanks to the good folks at the Samaritan Inn in McKinney to serve Collin County’s homeless!

Pat Fallon held a Town Hall Meeting at Griffin Middle School – did you attend?

US News published 7 Reasons to Buy a House Before 2014 – I agree with all of them except #4.

Thanks to Centennial Medical Center for sponsoring the Frisco Fire Safety Town Trick-or-Treat. Take the family and enjoy some fun, safe Halloween fun this evening!

Had an amazing time service as a Watch DOGG at my kids’ school! Highly recommend the experience.

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco will host its ninth annual Gifts of Grace Market on November 3, 8, 9 and 10.  Gifts of Grace supports artisans, farmers and craftsmen around the globe by helping to provide a sustainable living, enabling these individuals to build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities. All proceeds go directly back to these artisans and to missions and outreach organizations worldwide.

The September Jobs Report showed fewer new jobs created than expected, yet the unemployment rate dropped from 7.3 to 7.2% as more people gave up the job search. And the Labor Force Participation Rate is lowest it has been in 35 years – this is not a good sign for our economic recovery. The good news: lower mortgage interest rates to come.

Are you carving pumpkins this year? Shaddock Homes shared these amazing Jack o Lantern pics.

Always appreciate Mayor Maso’s involvement with the Frisco ISD kids!

Be sure to watch Shark Tank this evening – McKinney’s Jason Adams and his wife Amanda are pitching “Elephant Chat”, the new communication tool for couples they developed. Good luck to ’em!

The 2014 Tour de France route was released – wonder what creator Henri Desgrange would think of it?

The Gary Burns Fun Run is tomorrow morning – be aware of road closures around Toyota Stadium.

Calling all artists! Arts in the Square returns in collaboration with Frisco ISD. Apply by January 24, 2014 to participate in the evening in March 2014.
