The 4th of July is almost here along with a long weekend of celebration! You won’t want to miss the fireworks and activities at Frisco Freedom Fest.

Festivities begin on July 3rd with the first annual Hotter ‘n Firecrackers Firefly 5k Run. Registration is still open and includes a T-shirt, two LED bracelets, a glow necklace and a glow finisher medal.

Come back on the 4th for family fun including the Children’s Expo, Coney Eating Contest, Dachshund Races, Live Entertainment, and Taste of Frisco. Tickets are still available for the FC Dallas game for soccer fans looking for a front row seat to the Fireworks Extravaganza! Be sure to plan ahead for parking!

Even if you’re not planning to attend, you’ll want to be aware of multiple road closures in and around Frisco Square beginning on Wednesday, July 2nd.

Need more information? The “How Do I?” page of the  FreedomFest website is a great place to get your questions answered.

Have a safe and happy 4th!
