I am a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class 10 and went on to serve on the Advisory Board. I’ve written quite a bit about this program over the years, so it will come as no surprise that I think it’s an extremely worthwhile endeavor. I highly recommend the experience for local individuals who have an interest in community leadership and civic responsibility. Your experience with this class will be one you never forget.
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for the upcoming Leadership Frisco class. The program will start in September with a team building day and includes one full day each month dedicated to exploring the inner workings of Frisco’s government, educational system, economic development, service organizations, regional issues, leisure and culture, health services, and public safety. Participants will also learn about and get to practice skills critical to working with volunteers and groups in the community and their businesses. Members of the program will also select and complete a class project during their year that benefits Frisco.
