What is your opinion of the builders mortgage company as the option? I understand not wanting to “lose” the $ incentive but with higher rate?
What I like to suggest is to have an independent lender like myself run numbers for you – we don’t even have to do a full loan application. Just need the sales price and a few details to see how “good” the builders preferred lenders deal really is. And so you know, most times my interest rate and fees come in lower than theirs!!!
