Here’s what you may have missed on Twitter last week:

The Frisco EDC had a booth at the Inc 5000 Conference in Washington D.C. last weekend, where they discussed the benefits of doing business in Frisco, Texas. Proud to have Mayor Maso represent our city!

I was amazed to learn that the iconic Bernard Schwartz house (or Still Bend), which was commissioned by Life Magazine in 1938 is available as a vacation rental? It’s one of the few  Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes that allows overnight guests. Thanks, Bryan Smith Homes for sharing.

The Apple store in the Stonebriar Centre gets busy early!

Thanks, Kansas Gameday, for sharing the link to the online GameTracker. Follow along the games you’re unable to watch live!

Looking for some new running gear as the seasons change? Luke’s Locker always has great picks.

This Bob Hope quote explains our banking system: “A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don’t need it.” Thanks, Jessica Brasher for posting!

K. Hovnanian DFW shared a Time Magazine article, “5 Tips for Getting a Mortgage in Today’s Housing Market”. Tip #6? Use, of course!

Did you discover any leaks during last week’s rainy days? Total Roofing is here to help.

Frisco ISD presented attendance zone changes to accommodate the opening of the district’s 7th high school, Independence High.

Columbus Day was October 14th – did anyone else honor the occasion in the same manner that Will Ferrell did, by refusing to ask for directions?

Lone Star Custom Trim posted a picture of their stunning lighted crown molding – incredible!

Drug Crafters opened in Frisco Square’s Forest Park Medical Center. Thanks, John Classe and Frisco Square for filling me in on what they do!

Great lunch at Three Squares in Frisco Square – have you eaten there yet? Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner (get it? three square meals?). You will not be disappointed!

How long has it been since you’ve been to the Rocky Horror Picture Show? It’s that time of year again – you can catch a late night screening at the McKinney Performing Arts Center tonight!

Ah, the end of the Government Shutdown! Sure, we can celebrate a little, but let’s not forgot we just raised out debt limit when maybe we should have adjusted our spending… reminded everyone about the Frisco Humane Society’s Barktoberfest. It’s free, so grab your kids and your dogs and head out to Frisco Commons Park tomorrow (Saturday, October 19th) from noon to 4:00!

Skate the Square is returning to Frisco Square  for the holidays! Come out and enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink starting November 29th.

The Frisco Chamber‘s Business After Hours was hosted by 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House. Like they said, “Great food, over 40 beers on tap and TVs everywhere!” It was a perfect venue to recognize Jeff and Dana Cheney for their 10 years of Chamber membership!
