Twitter Recap: Brazos Power Lines, Dallas Cowboys, Big Boy 4018 and Back to School

Here’s what you may have missed on Twitter this week:

Frisco’s own Andrew Frakes is soon to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records, hitting 448 drives for over 300 yards in less than 1 hour!

I took the opportunity to thank our Mayor, Maher Maso for his contribution to our city in this very exciting time. With the Dallas Cowboys and Big Boy 4018 coming to Frisco, it’s been quite a week!

Welcome home, Big Boy!

In case you haven’t heard yet, John Classe is running for Frisco City Council Place 6. Follow @JohnForFrisco on Twitter for updates.

The new school year started for Frisco ISD on the August 26th. Hope all the teachers, administrators and students had a great first week!

Did you make it to the Brazos Power Line meeting in at the Frisco Heritage Center? If you haven’t been keeping up with the issue, read this article, and this letter from Brazos Electric with a map of propose routes.  The real action begins down the road, so stay involved!

Am I the only one who’s seeing C4 Roofing signs on a lot of projects around town? Looks like they’re staying busy!

With so much going on in our great city, it’s great to have keeping up with activities and events. Local friends, it’s time to play tourist in your hometown!

If you’re in the market for a bike or any cycling gear, go see the good people at Richardson Bike Mart! They’ve delivered reliable service and support for years – let’s make sure we support them as well by buying locally!
