We would like to thank everyone who attended our “State of the City” Quarterly Luncheon on June 25. Your participation and support make these events possible and drive their success. We once again congratulate the new graduates of Leadership Frisco and look forward to their continued contributions to Frisco. If you missed the luncheon, here’s a recap of its highlights.

During the 2010 Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) annual conference, held June 26-29, the Frisco Chamber received two significant recognitions – a first place media award for its official city map (designed by Community Matters, Inc.) and a seat on the TCCE’s board of directors, an appointment granted to Tony Felker . Being state-wide honors, these distinctions help spotlight Frisco among the more than 300 chambers in Texas .

We are pleased to introduce Tracy Wilson as the newest member of the Frisco Chamber staff. As an account executive, Tracy will work to ensure the business community is aware of our local chamber presence and the benefits of becoming members. She will also be our main contact for banner ads and ChamberVision. So if you know someone interested in learning more about the chamber and possibly joining, please refer them to her. And if you haven’t already met her, please be sure to introduce yourself next time you visit our office.

We encourage you to use all the benefits available to you as a chamber member, including our many regularly scheduled networking opportunities. They are a great way to promote your business and stay connected to other business professionals in the community.
