22 votes

In the City Council election that was held just a few short weeks ago, only 22 votes separated 2 on the ballot.  Without a majority winner, a run-off election will be held and early voting started this week.

So what has happened since the tie?  My candidate, John Keating was endorsed by both associations for the Frisco Police and Frisco Fire Fighters!  Keating was also endorsed by exiting council member David Price saying of Mr. Keating;  John has time and again shown that he is a man of dignity and honor in the way he has run his campaign.  He has held the high road and will represent all of the citizens of Frisco – not just one group of Frisco.”

If you have not yet had the chance to research the candidates, I would encourage you to do so. If you would like a chance to meet and talk with John Keating, please let me know and I can set that up for you.

It is the goal of each candidate, as well as my own, to get voters back out to the polls and to encourage those who missed, to come cast their vote.  Whether you support one candidate or another, it is important that we take the time to participate is this important process and to make our voices heard.
