May 21, 2010 is National Bike to Work Day, an event started and promoted by the League of American Bicyclists to encourage the use of alternative transportation by getting Americans to leave their cars at home one day a year and ride a bicycle to work. 2011 Dallas Bike Plan Open House
May 27, 2010 from 5-8 PM

If you live, work, or ride a bike in Dallas (is there anyone who hasn’t ridden around White Rock Lake?), you need to attend this open house. There will be a presentation on the 2011 Plan at 6 PM and opportunities to provide your input. There will also be plenty of bike parking, so think about riding!

BikeEd for Kids
BikeDFW will be conducting two educational "Bike Rodeos" for kids this coming Saturday, May 15, 2010. We will be at the Irving Bicycle Festival and the Allen Family Bike Day from 10 till noon. Bring the kids and join us for this fun way to teach bicycle safety. Details are posted in the Announcements Section of the web site.
BikeED for Adults
