Are You Up On The Web?

I have worked with Bill Sholar since 2004 and he has never steered me the wrong way.  If ever you need a person to hire, he is the guy!  His tips below:

 

Getting Google to list your site sometimes seems like the ultimate goal of many website owners.   But there are many other ways to get people to visit your website, especially when your market is mostly within your own local area.
 
Here are just a few:

1. Put your website address on your business cards, stationery, e-mail signature, promotional items, and anything else you get out to your clients.
2. Put your website on your car.  Let it advertise your site whether you’re on the tollway, parked on the side of the street, or in the grocery store parking lot.
3. Make sure your website address is in your Yellow Pages ad, and broadcast your website address in your radio advertising.  
4. Wear your website address on your chest, embroidering it below your logo, for example.
5. Participate and advertise on popular community forums, where thousands of potential customers will read your words and see your ad.
6. Finally, think about running a contest, sending people to your website to participate.  For example,
